Graduate of the Faculty of Law and Political Science at the Autonomous University of Chiriquí, where he obtained a Bachelor’s Degree in Law and Political Science, within the Sigma Lambda Honor Chapter. He began his professional career at the National Customs Authority, holding various positions such as National Head of Investigations of Customs Crimes of Smuggling and Fraud (Summary Proceedings) in the Directorate of Customs Prevention and Oversight, Regional Head of the Directorate of Customs Prevention and Oversight in the Western Zone (Chiriquí), and Lawyer for the National Customs Authority.
He has studies in the Accusatory Penal System from the University of Panama and the Autonomous University of Chiriquí; Customs Law from the Jiangsu Institute of Quality, Inspection, and Quarantine – People’s Republic of China; Drug-related Crimes from the National Police of Colombia; Forensic Science and Criminalistics on Scientific Evidence from INEJ – Nicaragua; Assistance in the Protection of Vulnerable Victims and Witnesses in the Criminal Process from INEJ – Nicaragua; Border Migration Management in the Area of Foreign Affairs from the Chilean Investigative Police; Border Trade Facilitation and Joint Clearance by the Mexican Tax Administration System; Goods Smuggling from the United States Agency for International Development; Customs Regulatory Hierarchy; Origin of Goods and Customs Legislation from the Secretariat of Central American Economic Integration. He also holds a Specialty in Higher Education from the Ibero-American University of Panama.
Currently, he focuses his professional activity as a litigation lawyer in the Criminal, Civil, and Administrative areas.
